Alopi Cassava

Ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk
2 cups grated cassava
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup grated young coconut
12 blanched banana leaves
Cookware:
Wok
Procedure:
  1. Cook grated cassava and coconut milk until thick.
  2. Add sugar and grated young coconut.
  3. Place about two tablespoons of the mixture in a banana leaf and wrap.
  4. Steam for about 30 minutes or until well cooked.
  5. Drain when done. You can either serve the alopi warm or chilled.
